Olivia's Prayers

We pray that all the world keeps safe.

We pray that all grandparents get better if they are sick.

Mystery Creek

Everyone was getting into their groups ready to go into the massive hall. Alan, our tour guide, was taking us in. To us he said, "Hundred of years ago, there were some soldiers that didn't know their way around NZ, so they got lost every time.
There was a farmer and every time they walked over to him, they asked, "Do you the way to Ngaruawahia or Hamilton?"
One afternoon, robbers knocked on his door. The farmer thought it was another soldier but it was robbers. One ran with a knife and held the farmer up against a wall with a knife at his neck. While he was doing that, the other robber ran into his room and took 18 massive coins. As they were leaving, the farmer remembered he had a massive gun behind his curtain. When the farmers were walking out the door, the farmer made too much noise and the robbers saw the gun, then soon all three of them were fighting over the gun. Boom! the farmer had got shot in the wrist. Of course, the farmer didn't care about the coins. He cared about his arm. When he got outside, he realised his horse was gone so he had to walk all the way to the hospital.
When he got there, the doctor said, "We can't fix the infection. We have to chop it off. When they were about to go to surgery, they found out that there was no medicine. He was awake when it was chopped off.
After that, we had an activity to do. It sure was a fun day.

I Love the Knight Life

My heart was pounding thump thump thump.
When Mr Emms came up with the mighty megamicrophone, it felt like like I was in an oven.
Mrs Thompson called us up. "Room 4, Room 4," she called. "It's time to go and get your stuff from the Rainbow Reading room."
We all hopped up on our two feet. I asked Millie, "Do you feel nervous?"
"Yes," she replied, in a shivery way.
Everyone was trying to shake the shivers out of them.
Soon after, we were on stage, waiting for Holly and Sabriye to open the curtains.
Boom! and the big red bulky curtains were open. I realised my part was a bit away. A song came on. It calmed me down a bit but, when the song stopped, there was traffic of tingly butterflies in my tummy.
Savannah, the narrator, said, "As King Arthur waits to be rescued, the Room Four rugby team come to cheer him up."
"Jaxon, Caleb, Michael, Porter, Brandon, Noah and Caleb. M," yelled the boys.
I walked forward, waddling like a duck.
"And I'm big fan," I said with shakes in my body.
"I’ve got this feeling," the radio sang out loud.
All the girls did perfect cartwheels across the stage while the boys were mooving and grooving to the music.

The Netball And Touch Tournament

Yesterday it was our Netball and Touch tournament at Paterson Park.
Thump, Thump, Thump! My feet trotted across the ground like horse hooves.
It was   freezing cold. I could hear trees whispering  as ice came dribbling down to the cold and wet ground. I could hear my hands saying, "Put some gloves on." I could hear the voices from my hands slowly fading away as I put them in my pockets.
We arrived at Paterson Park. Slap! as my feet walked into the netball grounds.
We heard a  noise like a fire truck driving past with its siren on. We all sat on the cold concrete, alarmed.  It was a screaming horn saying, "Come sit down. It was a human. She was a Bernard  Ferguson teacher. She was yelling right through the cold and breezy air. I had a big team. Mrs Thompson was telling us what our places were. 'You're the game! You're the game!' yelled Mrs Thompson. I was playing as GA. Bounce, bounce, the ball cried.
Some of the St Paul's children were yelling with their noisy voices, "Let's go St Paul's, let's go." It gave me the butterflies. I thought I would let them down.
Boom! The ball crashed into my hand. I tried not to pass it back into the big crowd. I thought to myself, "I can do this." I threw it into the hoop with its mouth wide open. The ball splatted out like an egg splatting into a  bowl.
The ball passed on like a flying saucer. It passed over to goal defence like lightning. She threw it back out into the crowd fearlessly.

Leap

Olivia   25/7/16     Leap

One cold and wet tuesday my sisters, my dad and I decided we would spend the afternoon at Leap with my dad's new friends kids, Katie and Ben. When we got there, we all hopped out of the car in excitement.

We all scrambled into the building, all we could see was trampolines we could hear sounds of people jumping and the smell of the fresh air coming from the fans.
Jump! Jump! Jump! I thought to myself.

We'd been there for about half an hour when Charlotte decided to try do a backflip she landed on her head and missed out on the last half an hour of leap.

After all the drama, Katie, Ben, Emily and I played tag. It had been a while. Emily and Katie got bored so they ran off to play basketball. They were throwing a ball and trying to get it in the hoop. Ben and I ran off to go jump in the foam pit. I was practicing my forward handspring into it. Ben was just doing back flips.

Time ran by. Charlotte came right after a while. Excitedly Ben did a backflip into the foam pit and taught Charlotte.
I bolted to jump of the highest lege into the foam pit  because there was no que.

After an extremely long time, everyone was weak and no longer able to jump. We drove home happily in our little silver car.
